The menu book is a legacy passed down by ancient practitioners with pure handmade craftsmanship. Among them, the inheritor took over a renowned gourmet magazine in the 1980s and received numerous Golden Tripod Awards from the Government Information Office of the Republic of China during that time. In the 1990s, the responsibility of menu book production was further passed down within the shop. (The succession is based on the transfer of abilities, not on familial relations.)

Originally rooted in simple design, Kela Duo Handmade Menu Book Shop has evolved to possess capabilities in product design, development, and production assembly. It has improved the traditional processes to meet modern needs and consumer usage habits. The menu book is endowed with flexibility, durability, aesthetic appeal, and resistance to bacteria and mold. It can be customized in collaboration with customers, with the option of ODM (Own Designing & Manufacturing) to design or improve products according to agreed specifications. The shop also accepts OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) projects, which involve menu design and technical development, without engaging in contract manufacturing or OEM branding. Under the OBM (Own Branding & Manufacturing) model, the shop has its own brand, MEMU, with a logo featuring a small lamb. Visitors are welcome to browse and purchase.

MEMU is a handcrafted brand founded in 1995 by an individual passionate about cultural and artistic creation. Since the founder began apprenticing and learning bookbinding at the age of 16 in 1986, they have accumulated extensive experience. Their first project involved participating in the complete production of a surgical translation textbook for the Medical Department of National Taiwan University. MEMU offers comprehensive custom product services and their handcrafted goods have been marketed worldwide. Visitors are invited to make appointments to explore various types of products. Additionally, customization and contract manufacturing are available. The shop regularly releases new products and creations. Getting to know us, we hope to bring you the utmost joy.
