Made from natural inorganic soil, Ecoiv Soft Stone is a next-generation surface material formed through precision molding and low-temperature sintering. It features a lightweight, thin, breathable, and flexible profile. Composed of 95% natural earth, it retains the inherent qualities of soil—most notably, its ability to self-regulate humidity, maintaining a tactile comfort ideal for use in highly humid environments.
Additionally, MCM Eco Soft Panels have passed Taiwan’s SGS certifications for Class 1 flame resistance (CNS 7614) and low formaldehyde emissions (CNS 1349), ensuring both comfort and safety in everyday use.
With an average thickness of approximately 3–5mm, the material is remarkably light and thin, yet capable of expressing the textures and dimensionality of various surfaces. Its moderate flexibility and unique crack-resistant properties significantly reduce the risk of damage from impact or collision.

Crafted with Ecoiv Classic Soft Stone as the primary cover material, this handmade menu book blends natural texture with functional design. Each piece feels as though it were born from the soil of Taiwan—a Soft Stone Book that carries the story and spirit of the restaurant it represents.
In a dining space, a menu is more than just a vessel of information. It is an extension of the brand, a tactile language. By choosing Ecoiv Soft Stone as the cover, we’re not merely selecting a physical material—we’re embracing a narrative drawn from the earth. A language of nature, honesty, and time.

Ecoiv Classic Soft Stone is a next-generation surface material, pressed from natural inorganic soil. It offers the following key features:
MENU The Fourth Letter: U
U-shaped clasp with quadruple-thickness art paper inserts.
The spine features a real wrench as its binding structure—a nod to industrial humor and a celebration of functional aesthetics. More than a visual surprise, the wrench serves as a structural anchor. It symbolizes the spirit of culinary craftsmanship: handmade, solid, and uncompromising.
This design transforms the menu book from a mere book into an object, a device—something to be touched, felt, and even marveled at.

In this design, the menu book is no longer merely a vessel for information—it becomes an extension of the brand, a language of the space, a story that can be touched.
Choosing ECOIV Classic Soft Stone as the primary cover material is more than a material decision—it’s a statement of values. It preserves the natural texture and gentle warmth of soil. Each piece is one of a kind, like a shale born from the land of Taiwan, carrying traces of climate, memory, and time.
This is not plastic pretending to be stone, nor is it a cold industrial panel. It is a flexible stone—rugged in its rawness, refined in its craftsmanship. It evokes the stillness of forests, the breath of open fields, and the quiet language of the land that endures, even when forgotten.

Perforated and threaded by hand, the hemp rope restores the book’s structure to its primal, handcrafted essence. Its fibers—rough or fine—carry a friction that feels unmistakably real. It binds not only the cover to the spine, but the brand to its guests, forming a quiet emotional link.
This binding doesn’t strive for perfect symmetry. It honors the traces of the hand—the tension, the warmth, the subtle irregularities that only come from tying it yourself. It’s a design that speaks through touch, and remembers through feeling.
We chose high-weight fine art paper not just for print clarity, but to turn every page into a canvas. Its grain and thickness create a tactile dialogue between paper and hand—an experience that invites touch, not just reading.
Burnt laser Engraving + Hand Paint
The laser engraving effect on burned surfaces is limited, and manual painting is time-consuming and costly.
This image shows the result of laser engraving on a burned surface, with a depth of about 0.3-0.6mm. This is already the best possible effect, and the color is applied manually after the engraving process. However, the painting process is very time-consuming and labor-intensive. In summary, the laser engraving effect on ecological soil is limited, and the cost of such processing is too high for its limited effect, so it is not recommended. CNC carving, on the other hand, is more suitable for achieving a relief effect with a depth of 2-3mm or more.
A sustainable menu book with a lifespan of up to 10 years can be achieved with attentive management. You don’t have to worry about the durability of the menu book. Our unique technology also allows the menu book to have a pleasant aroma, and regular cleaning can effectively prevent bacterial growth and eliminate odors. Our product is SGS certified, preventing mold and toxins from entering the mouths of our customers, ensuring you can enjoy your food with peace of mind.
Our custom menus are one-of-a-kind and can be tailored to the buyer’s preferences. For room service menus, we intentionally make them thick and sturdy to prevent them from being taken away, but we can also make them small and thin based on the buyer’s needs. The materials used for the inside and outside of the menu can be mixed and matched to provide a wide range of options. We recommend using a four-hole metal clip for quick and easy replacement of the pages during events.
The inner pages of this design utilize our proprietary technology, which includes cardboard pages, and is one of our recommended options. The entire series features pages that can be easily added, removed, or replaced, and we support the purchase of various types of fine art paper, waterproof paper, cardboard pages, and magazine paper for the inner pages. If you prefer not to use PVC materials, the aforementioned materials can be purchased separately for use as inner pages. However, only our shop’s products feature inner pages that are easy to flip, durable, without rebounding, and without cracking or splitting along the spine.
